  Robert Nicholas (Bob) Swanson MESSAGE Hi Barbara, I wanted to take a minute and let you all know that my Dad Bob Swanson died Sunday October 2, 2011 in Denver Colorado. He was working on his car and had a heart attack he was taken to the hospital and while waiting for operating room to open up he passed away. I have been in Denver taking care of things with my Uncle Steve. Dad always lived life to the fullest and you were always also assured a good time with him! Just wanted to let you all know. No memorial service is planned at this time. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Swanson was born June 29, 1941, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Earl K. Swanson and Clara V. Hammes Swanson. Mr. Swanson graduated from Fairfield High School in 1959 and was a graduate of Parsons College. Survivors include two daughters, Sheri Berry and husband Mark of La Luz, New Mexico and Judy Van Winkle and husband Brian of Tularosa, New Mexico; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry of Clear Lake, Iowa and Steve of Silverton, Colorado.
