SIGOURNEY-Mary E. Kerber, age 58, of Ottumwa, formerly of Sigourney, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ottumwa. Mary was born June 1, 1951, in Sigourney, to Gordon and Dorothy (Hammes) Kerber. She moved to Glenwood, Iowa at age three and became a resident at Good Samaritan Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ottumwa in 1973.
Survivors include her mother: Dorothy Kerber of Sigourney; two sisters: Patricia Ann Kerber Cook of Troy, Michigan and Diane Denny of Sigourney and several nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: Gordon Kerber, brother: Terry Kerber and one niece. Her body has been cremated and a memorial graveside service
will be held at a later date at Holy Trinity Cemeteries - Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Clear Creek Township. There will be no visitation. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation
Service in Sigourney is caring for Mary and her family.
