- Obituary - Raymond Patrick Shannon
Raymond Patrick Shannon, 86, died October 20, 2020 at the Sigourney Health Care Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born March 17, 1934 to Joseph and Clara (Gries) Shannon in Sigourney, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School. Pat served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. On December 29, 1954 he married Rose Mary Merz. They lived all their life in Sigourney. He was employed at the Mid-Continent Bottling for many years. Pat was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rose Mary on August 2, 2020, two sons Tim and Jeff Shannon, brother Francis Shannon.
He is survived by his, sons Rik (Carol) Shannon of Des Moines, Iowa, Terry (Susan) Shannon of Kansas City, Missouri, Randy (Karen) Shannon of Glenrock, Wyoming, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Private family service for Pat and Rosemary will be held at the St. Mary Catholic Church. The service will be live stream on our Facebook page.
