      OBITUARY
      Lena Vogel Linnenkamp, 97, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, in Halcyon House after a four-week illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. James Catholic Church, by Father Dennis Martin. Burial: Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, Washington, where friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and a prayer service begins at 7:30 p.m.
      Survivors include a son, Donald Vogel of Washington; three daughters, Virginia Vogel of Great Falls, Mont., Helen Brady of Coralville and Joan Pease of Fort Collins, Colo.; and two stepdaughters, Evelyn Lukavsky and Elaine Todd, both of Washington.

      LENA VOGEL LINNENKAMP - M. Magdalena "Lena" Linnenkamp, 97, of Washington, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000 at Halcyon House in Washington.
      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Hospice of Washington County.
      Mrs. Linnenkamp was born Oct. 16, 1903, in Keota, to John and Susan (Buch) Peiffer. She married Leo Raymond Vogel, May 6, 1924, in Clear Creek. She later married Nicholas Linnenkamp, Feb. 13, 1965. Mrs. Linnenkamp attended school at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Clear Creek. She was formerly of Keota, and had lived in Washington since
      1958.
      She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Washington.
      Mrs. Linnenkamp is survived by one son, Donald Vogel and wife Marlene of Washington; three daughters, Virginia Vogel of Great Falls, Mont., Helen Brady of Coralville, and Joan Pease of Ft. Collins, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Evelyn Lukavsky and husband Frank of Washington and Elain Todd and husband Robert of Washington; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Leo Raymond Vogel and Nicholas Linnenkamp; one step grandson; three brothers; and two sisters.
