  Patricia Cecilia Dolan Pat was raised on a farm near Danvers, Minnesota and graduated from high school at Benson, Minnesota. Pat then graduated from St. Catherines college in St. Paul Minnesota with her major as a dietitian. OBITUARY PATRICIA C. VOGEL WINDSOR HEIGHTS Patricia C. Vogel, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Patricia was born October 1, 1925. She was raised in Danvers, Minnesota and met her husband Jim while attending the University of Iowa where she received a Masters Degree in Dietetics in 1948. Pat was a cherished and committed wife and mother. She was a devoted member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Des Moines, Iowa and enjoyed her association with groups and friends who adored her as she was known for her warmth, loving kindness, and concern for others. She will be sorely missed. Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dolan of Danvers, Minnesota. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim Vogel of Windsor Heights, Des Moines, Iowa; son, Tom Vogel of Des Moines, Iowa; daughters, Mary (John) Conger of West Des Moines, Iowa, Ann Vogel of Windsor Heights, Des Moines, Iowa and Jean Fox of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Anne Kelly of Edina, Minnesota, Betty Dolan of St. Paul, Minnesota and Virginia Dickerman of Mankato, Minnesota; and grandchildren, Josh, Jacob and Alissa Vogel and Billy Fox. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Westover Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice or St. Theresa's Catholic Church.
