  Marie Ohlinger NEWSPAPER ARTICLE Ohlinger honored at Univ. of Iowa event IOWA CITY -- Marie Ohlinger of Portsmouth, a seventh grade student at Tri- Center Middle School, was among 470 students from Iowa and throughout the nation honored at the University of Iowa Belin-Blank Center's Recognition Ceremony. Ohlinger is the daughter of Dave and Bev Ohlinger, Portsmouth. The ceremony was held October 13 at the Iowa Memorial Union on the University of Iowa campus. Additionally, recognized students were given the opportunity to honor a teacher they credited for having a profound influence on their lives. Ohlinger selected Beth Schueman, Tri-Center Middle School math teacher, for this honor.
