This newsletter is dedicated to our beloved Joanne Luttenegger who passed away on April 18, 1994. She will live on in many special ways through the love and kindness she showed, the comfort she gave and the dreams she left behind. There were three things that were important in Joanne. The first was her tremendous faith in God. She rejoiced in Him and walked with Him daily and that gave her strength to make it through the challenges she faced. All who knew Joanne could see His love and His light shining brightly through her. She was the sweetest and most gentle person I ever met and yet she had the strength of the Lord upon her.
Joanne was a wonderful wife and mother and her family meant so much to her. She and Harold had six beautiful children (3 sons and 3 daughters), and of course her sons and daughters-in-laws whom she loved as her own. She was also blessed with 2 beautiful grand-babies. But Joanne had a way of making everyone feel like her family….her loving and nurturing reached out to everyone she met.
Joanne’s third love in life was being in Mary Kay. She loved the products, the company and the company philosophy of God first, family second and career third which she truly practiced. Joanne reached out to the many women God placed in her path. She did this by lovingly and freely sharing the products and opportunity. She built a strong customer base with over 100 on the District Support Program. Her clients lover her very much and took pride in giving them the best service possible. She also dreamed of becoming a Mary Kay Director and was so proud of her team members: Sandy Angelle, Chris Pasterz, Anne Stine, Christie Varner and Annette Winfield. She believed and dreamed for all of you.
Joanne truly represented the “Go Give” Spirit of our company. She always had a great sense of Team Spirit and was committed to our unit and to me herDirector. She was always doing something nice for somebody else and often had a word of encouragement to give others. She preserved with a positive attitude, never ever complained and expected only the best in every situation, no matter what. She took great pride and joy in her career, in becoming the best Mary Kay consultant she could be, and attended Mary Kay Success meetings, Career Conferences and Seminars as long as she was able with her poor health. I know there were times she attended events even though she was in a great deal of pain. But she didn’t miss anything!
